  • Taboot is proud to announce the Taboot Music and Art Expo on June 7, 2008 (6-7-08) . The event will be held at a new music venue, "Owsley's Golden Road," and will feature 20-25, 10 ft spaces for artists to display their work for sale or just for show, food vendors, alcohol, four bands (including two nationally recognized), 2 dj's, performance artists, and more. We are expecting a crowd of 600-800. The events will be advertised in the Westword beginning the second week of May and all over town through hand silk screened posters ad handbills beginning May 1st! The headliner is Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band from Boone, NC- it will be their first performance in Colorado. We are taking portfolio submissions for artists (of any medium). Submit portfolios to tabootart at yahoo dot com.

  • Second Saturday Grand Opening Celebration in coordination with the Taboot Denver store Grand Opening on April 12th was a HUGE celebration for new and old Taboot fans! We printed 5 of the new designs in the Spring Collection throughout the night, releasing them to customers in the store for purchase. 10 more designs coming later this week. Spring collection is currently available in the Taboot store at 3000 E. Colfax and will be available online April 21st. Spring collection features a new brand of shirts as well as some girl t's. All shirts are made of a very soft, ringspun cotton. Featured artists are from North Carolina, Colorado, Maryland, and Georgia.

  • Tripp designed the official promotional poster for The Big Easy Blow Out. This late night benefit was held at Cervantes for the Tipitina's Foundation and New Orleans Musicians Fund on Saturday, January 26. Headliners included: Page McConnell, Russell Batiste, Reed Mathis, Papa Mali, and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux. The event was a massive success and a ragin' Mardi Gras celebration. Thanks to all those who attended and we would like to wish Scott at Cervantes "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

  • We are excited to announce that Tripp designed and silk screened the Disco Biscuits Colorado run official souvenir poster. It was a near sell out with less than 20 going unsold out of a run of 160!
