Taboot donated the event merchandise for the 5th Annual Polytoxic Parkinson Alliance Benefit held on Sunday, June 6th, 2010 at Quixtoes. A wonderful brunch was served early in the day and Polytoxic performed the entire 9/7/85 Grateful Dead show (from Red Rocks) to help raise money for a very important charity, The Parkinson Alliance.
The Parkinson Alliance is one of very few charities that can honestly say 100% of the money raised goes towards the research and development of a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. Philanthropic forces within the Alliance match every cent donated to the Alliance. Their contribution goes towards the administration and running the organization, so 100% of the donated money we raise goes towards a cure. It is a shining example of how a true charity can work, and you know that when you donate money, it’s actually going somewhere good.
